Remake and Return Guidelines
At DDS Lab, preventing remakes begins with precision, clear communication, and careful attention to detail during the initial stages of fabrication. Remakes carry both tangible and intangible costs that affect not only the dental practice and lab, but most importantly, the patient.
If there’s uncertainty about a case or concern that Rx notes may not provide enough guidance, DDS Lab’s team of experts is readily available to review and collaborate on the best next steps.
To further minimize remakes, training and continuing education are available through our Field Support team, including refreshers on digital scanning, analog impressions, and case submission best practices. All necessary information and documentation for submitting a qualifying remake can be found below.
